MAKEUP FOREVER Aqua Black Waterproof Cream Eye Shadow

I was on a crazy hunt for a new gel eyeliner, so I went to Sephora to find one, instantly I thought well MUFE would be amazing based off their pencil liners. I must say for the price this doesn't blow my mind like I wanted. It's not horrible, good staying power, but the ease of use wasn't there and it wasn't crazy black like I would have expected. It was only just basic and okay, not amazing. I will keep it and use it up but for me it has to be set with shadow to get the intensity from it I want. I normally apply my gel liner with a bent liner brush but for this it's a no go and an angled brush works better. I haven't tried a flat thin brush yet but I think that would work nicely too.

Overall I'd say pass on it, I'm truly not crazy for this product. For 23$ I'd say it's not worth it, I thought the ELF one was better for 20$ less, didn't last as long but darker and applied easier. It's not bad but not want I would expect from the brand or for the price point.

Thanks!

ELF vs. Wet n Wild: Cream Eyeliner

Metallic Olive
        VS

Hey,
It has been a while since I've done one of these, actually since I have done a review. Today I wanted to talk to you about cream eyeliners, I have used both of these for quite some time, I have actually went through an ELF cream eyeliner.

So the basics of the two are they are both really black and cheap. The ELF packaging is much better then the Wet n Wild packaging, personally I feel the ELF looks nicer then the WnW, the WnW is actually quite cheap looking. Both these eyeliners are 3usd. The WnW stays on longer then the ELF liner but they are both quite long lasting. Both seem to take just as long to dry out. They are both smooth and creamy, they are a harder cream then those that are liquidy. I have a review on the ELF liner which you can see here. These both come with a brush, the ELF one is much nicer, the WnW actually hurt my eye when I gave it a try.

Over all I think they are both great, but I would recommend the WnW over the ELF, because in the US it's more obtainable and a bit better, but both are nice and would do a great job. I feel you can't go wrong with one of these liners and either or both are worth giving a try.

Have you tried these yet, which do you prefer?

ELF vs Wet n Wild; pen eyeliners

Hey,

First I want to say sorry this is late and that I didn't have really any post last week or until now today, I have been super busy lately. These post might be up a few hours later then normal along with Fridays post, Sunday and Monday should stay the same though. So I decided that I wanted to do a little review series, a elf vs Wet n Wild comparison/review, they are both cheap lines but I know I get sucked into these brands due to their price and then get disappointed when I buy multiple products that aren't so great, when its just a dollar or two it's not a big deal but it really does start to build up and personally I feel bad for throwing away products even though I know they wont get any use so I decided I would compare the two brands and I was planning on doing this a when I first reviewed the Wet n Wild marker liner and figured I could just make a series out of it.

So I already reviewed the Wet n Wild version, which you can see here.

So lets jump right into comparing the to, the elf liner has lasted longer, I've had it for two weeks and it hasn't even started to show signs of drying out. Both liners have good pigmentation and lasting ability. The elf one pretty much a third of the price, being 1.00usd where the Wet n Wild liner is 2.99usd. The tip of the Wet n Wild one is a little thicker and seems to be more stiff but yet more sturdy then the elf one. I had seen reviews on this saying the very tip of the marker part got flimsy; this did happen to mine but it was so little that I just pulled it off and its all good now. Also they both had the same lasting time on my eyes. Lastly the elf liner comes in eight color options, the Wet n Wild liner only has two.

Overall I would get the elf one, the elf one isn't as available as the Wet n Wild one but you can also get it outside out North America easily. The price difference isn't much but I would personally rather get a better product for less. This one is better for those who haven't used these liners before too.

I do want to note that elf can be inconsistent with their quality so my experiences and yours may vary.

Review: Avon Glimmersticks

Hey,

I use to be a huge fan of twist up eyeliners, now I opt more for the ones you sharpen, gel, or liquid liner. I just find they apply better and last longer, and you get more for what you pay for.

I have tried at least one from each line of the Glimmerstick liners, my favorite ones would have to be the waterproof one in Brown Chocolate, Diamonds one in Flashy Copper, and the Liqui-Glide in Black, it feels like liquid liner when you apply it but its in kohl form. These retail for 7usd but usually on sale for much less. There are five different types of Glimmersticks to chose from and each one has 4+ shades. These aren't smudge proof, the waterproof ones are more or less water resistant then waterproof. I would honestly say pass on these, or try out the Liqui-Glide one but be warned you can not use that one in the waterline even though its in kohl form its still very much a liquid liner, I found that out the hard way. In my opinion these are no better then any other liners I have tried, I would suggest the Brown Chocolate and Liqui-Glide liners but all others can easily be replaced with cheaper liners. These for me, even once set, don't last all day on the waterline. My eyes aren't sensitive, but my mother who also uses these does has sensitive eyes and cannot use these on her waterline, so that's something to consider also.

You can find twist up or just plain liners anywhere for any price that are better, I would suggest either the Avon Ultra Luxury or the Wet n Wild Coloricon eyeliners, both need sharped but are much creamier and apply better. For what you usually pay they aren't the best for the price but they aren't the worst either, I just feel for less you can get better. The nice thing about these is that you have many options in both color and finish which isn't very common among brands like this or drugstore brands.

Review: Wet n Wild Mega Eyes Defining Marker

Hey,

I hauled this a while ago, you can check that out here if you want to see what other fun Wet n Wild products I got. So let me just start off by saying I love Wet n Wild products, I think they are a great brand, and for the price you can't get better. I really love eyeliners like this, I just think they're easy and sometimes I don't like spending much time on my eyeliner and this gets the job done fast. With all that said this was a great eyeliner, while it lasted. It was pigmented, the marker part was not too hard but yet not so soft either, it did what the website claimed it would, it was just great. The only down fall was after three times of me using this I could tell it was already drying out. Sure you can store it upside down to prolong this from happening but it still dries out faster then I would like, and even though it's only 2.99 I don't want to spend that much on a eyeliner that's going to dry out in three days, even if its cheap, for me to repurchase this every three days for a month that's around 30 dollars, it would be cheaper to get a high end one that is known to last four+ months, or even a different drugstore one.

Over all it a great liner but not worth since it dries out faster, I'd say skip this if you were thinking about getting it, I'm going to get the ELF one of these and do a review/comparison of these later on.

If you would still like to give this a try and see if you have better results you can get these at: Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, and I think Target also carries Wet n Wild. It's 2.99usd and can often be found on sale for less at most drugstores.

Sorry Wet n Wild, but this product was a fail for me, and I would not recommend this to anyone, not even if its for a one time use.
