Hey,
I love coffee, its great for your body and skin. For this scrub I mix about two tablespoons of coffee with enough olive oil to make a paste, I then add half a teaspoon of both cinnamon and nutmeg to help with acne. You want to use ground coffee, instant will work but not as well. The nutmeg and cinnamon are optional. I then massage this onto my clean face for a minute then I let it sit for between 5-10 minutes then I rinse it off with warm water and go on with my skin care routine. This scrub helps with acne, is brightening and hydrating, and with all the sun exposure you get during the summer hydrating scrubs and masks are a must!
Have you ever used coffee as a mask or scrub?

Hey, so we all want skin that is tan and glowing, or at least most of us do. Personally I tan which is terrible, I know, so these tips go along with keeping a nice and even tan too.
So if you are very anti tanning or being out in the sun self tanner is your friend, like I said I tan so I have never used one but I hear good things about St. Tropez, Gergens, and the one by Tarte. No matter you method of getting bronzed skin exfoliating prior to tanning or self tanner is a must! I personally like using shower puffs so I exfoliate daily, not so much will tanning, which is important when tanning or self tanning don't exfoliate to hard just lightly.
Drinking water, this has to be the most preached thing in the beauty world. But there is a damn good reason for this. Getting you daily needed amount of water is so good for every part of your body, especially your skin. This helps keeps your skin from drying out which keeps your tan even. This also helps give that glowy look. So try to get at least eight cups a day, plus with the summer heat you are more prone to getting dehydrated.
Not only is it important to drink lots of water to keep your skin healthy but using lotion, you really want soft skin that glows, I like to apply lotion at least twice a day, usually three times. Before you go to bed and after you wake up, after the shower, I shower at night so I apply lotion after my shower then once I wake up. Also after you go tanning or are out in the sun apply lotion, tanning can really dry out your skin.
Now if your impatient for this to naturally show through a good highlighter in the summer is a must, I really like Sheercover Lid to Lip Highlighter in Bronzing, for drugstore Wet n Wild has a couple really nice ones.
I just want to add at the end of this that it is important to wear SPF, no one likes a sunburn and this also can help prevent wrinkles and early aging, so if this is a big concern for you go the self tanning route or rock the pale skin, nothing wrong with that! This is only a few ways to get glowing skin for the summer, but these are what I find I do the most.

Hey,
I wondered across this tip a while back and thought I would make a short post on it, and share it with you. You should always apply moisturizer while your face is still damp, this goes for all lotion. Doing this locks in the moisture that the water skin better. I find that I sometimes let my face dry first so I typically lightly spray my face with water before applying moisturizer. Honestly I feel a difference from when I do this and when I don't, even if you personally can't feel a difference, it really does add just a bit more moisture to your skin and it great to do in the winter!
Is this something you do? If you haven't tried this and decide to tell me please let me know if you feel a difference too?

Hey,
Since it is Winter gotten so dry share my two favorite lotions for dry skin with you. I have a high end option and a drugstore option, both these lotions are thick and rub into your skin very easily, they also don't require too much product, but that my vary on the dryness of your skin.
Kiehl's Intensive Treatment and Moisturizer, this lotion is amazing but it is between 26usd for 3.4 oz or 48usd for 8 oz. This has done wonders for my hands, and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good lotion for dry skin. They do have an Ultimate Strength Hand Slave, which is supposedly really great and it doesn't cost as much, I haven't tried this so I can't give my opinion on it. If you do decide to try this, keep in mind it expires in 12 months when picking the size. This is also fragrance free.

The other lotion I wanted the Neutrogena Hand Cream, this doesn't work as well for me but does a pretty good job, this is only five dollars, and they have a fast absorbing version for six dollars, I haven't tried that one yet. This lotion can be found at most drugstores, I'm do believe you can get this in the UK but I am not positive; I usually get this at walmart. It can be purchased in either original scent or fragrance free, personally I suggest fragrance free since its less irritating on dry skin.

I do suggest the Kiehl's one over the Neutrogena, but both work great; so I recommend which ever is in your price range. Have you tried any of these, what were your thoughts on them?

Hey,
To start fall off with a good start I decided to share with you a fall themed face mask. This face mask is moisturizing and great for all skin types; it leaves your skin with a gorgeous glow!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of Canned or cooked pumpkin
1 teaspoon of Honey
1/2 teaspoon of Milk
To make this into an exfoliater you can add in 1-2 tablespoons of sugar either brown or normal cane sugar. For oily skin you can add 1/2 of cranberry juice.
Mix all the ingredients together then put gently apply to your face, let set for 10-15 minutes. Afterwards rinse off with warm water. If you added the sugar, rub it into your face for around 2 minutes after it has sat on your face for 10-15 minutes, you will have to add a little bit of warm water to make it exfoliater easily, then just rinse off like normal.
