Scrolling through Sephora I came across this palette, never heard of the brand or seen anyone mention it or review it. Personally I obsess over nude palettes, especially when they are completely matte. It comes in four color options, the one I got was 01 neutral nudes, two of the four were sold out and the other one wasn't my type of colors. These run for 80$ and not sold in stores. For me that's no problem, shipping is always fast from Sephora three days and is free with this palette. Lucky for me Sephoras warehouse is in Maryland and I'm in Pennsylvania so it's always here in two days instead.
Now my first thought when seeing this was wow it's little, bigger than a Nars palette, we all know how small those are but definitely not what I'd expect for a twelve pan palette that is 80$. Comparing to my other palettes I do see its about the same size and the shadows appear larger. The packaging isn't pretty, which is why the palette isn't huge. The focus is all in product not packaging which to me isn't a big deal. It is a plastic palette but not cheap, very sturdy; with a clear lid.
Besides price and packaging, what personally matters most to me pigmentation, it is great. Formula is soft and buttery; colors apply and blend amazingly. I used this once so far, and I put it on around eleven and was out till one that night, at one my shadow looked good, not as good as it did but when I first tried this palette I skipped on primer to get a real feel for how it would hold up. Without primer colors still showed without packing on five layers and lasted a good time. Even with a primer I don't expect no fading after 14 hours, and the best part no creasing. I will say for me personally unless it's a cheap shadow I very rarely experience creasing. Another thing is not one shade lacks pigment or is chalky. They are all of the same quality and great shadows.
Even though I think this is a great palette and I will be keeping it and probably picking up the one other option I was interested in, I wouldn't say this is a must. If you're like me and already have multiple matte palettes, I'd say try a different one and give the brand a try. To me this is perfect for beginners or someone who has very few mattes. This has all your basics, it doesn't have a white, an off white but not true white, other than that it covers the basics of nude mattes. Mostly warm shades but a few cool and a good range in shades. It's a good to have palette but not a must. But so many looks can be created and I love the fact that you have transition colors, lighter shades and deep shades too. But really I'd say unless you're just starting out skip it, good for people with no mattes in their collection but not a must if you have say the Urban Decay Naked Basic palettes.
For me I'll get a lot of use out of it because I mostly do a matte look with winged liner but not everyone is crazy for mattes and won't get much use out of a palette like this. Geared more towards pros but the quality makes it worth trying, just probably in a different option. I plan on getting the Sultry Muse palette once back in stock and will definitely post about how shimmery shades are too. on Sephora at least their isn't much offered by this brand and the other two products are palettes as well. 80$ is a lot for a palette but for the quality and fact that twelve shadow from any high end brand will cost you well over 80$ it's not that bad of a price, but it would be nice to see in stores prior to purchasing at that price.
Thanks for reading all that rambling!

MAKEUP FOREVER Aqua Black Waterproof Cream Eye Shadow
I was on a crazy hunt for a new gel eyeliner, so I went to Sephora to find one, instantly I thought well MUFE would be amazing based off their pencil liners. I must say for the price this doesn't blow my mind like I wanted. It's not horrible, good staying power, but the ease of use wasn't there and it wasn't crazy black like I would have expected. It was only just basic and okay, not amazing. I will keep it and use it up but for me it has to be set with shadow to get the intensity from it I want. I normally apply my gel liner with a bent liner brush but for this it's a no go and an angled brush works better. I haven't tried a flat thin brush yet but I think that would work nicely too.
Overall I'd say pass on it, I'm truly not crazy for this product. For 23$ I'd say it's not worth it, I thought the ELF one was better for 20$ less, didn't last as long but darker and applied easier. It's not bad but not want I would expect from the brand or for the price point.
Thanks!

BUXOM Full On Lip Cream
I personally am not a huge lip gloss person, but let me just begin by saying I love these. We've all heard the hype over White Russian, and all the hype is true. Not just that color
though, they are all amazing! 19$ in my opinion is a little much for a product like lip gloss. I don't know about you but I always just thought it's lip gloss sticky and doesn't last long no matter what brand, so almost 20$ dollars for one seemed crazy but of course I had to see what the hype was about over White Russian and bought it. I have never loved a lip gloss so much, now White Russian isn't the kind of color I go for normally but it is a beautiful nude.
This definitely is not all about that shade, out of the six I've tried I love them all, color range isn't crazy huge like their normal lip gloss range but still a nice selection. They don't give me that burning my lips are on fire but they wear like no other lip gloss! I honestly can not order or go to Sephora and not get one. Good yet bad I haven't been too much lately. Going through the I have too much makeup phase, yet what is too much makeup? Can never have enough, right?
I have White Russian, in my opinion it's a paler nude, Dolly nude/mauve, Lavender Cosmo light lavender with a lot of pink, probably my favorite, Mudslide to me this is a rosey nude, Rose Julep typical rose shade and Creamsicle light peach. I can honestly say I will continue too buy these till I own them all.
They are an amazing lip gloss, with good pigmentation and worth every penny. I say if you haven't tried these yet go pick one up, you won't regret it! Only downfall is Buxom is a Sephora exclusive.

Tips For Self Tanning Your Face
Summer is coming to an end and well all want to keep that glowing tan we got this summer through the whole winter and that's where self tanner becomes your friend. The self tanner for the face I like is the Lorac SelfTantalizer for face. I find that it give me light glowing color; this product is a gradual self tanner.
When using self tanner on your face you first want to read the instructions and do a patch test on your wrist, this will not only show you if you'll have a reaction but if the product will turn you orange. I generally use the same amount of self tanner as I would moisturizer, don't over do it. Using too much is how you get strikes. Generally all you need is a dime size. I rub the product in between my hands and then all over my face, getting the ears and down the neck. This is important because without these areas it will look really strange and fake. After I cover my face I go over my face with a clean stippling brush. This is very important, it will insure your completely blended in and help get rid of patches that just using your hands could leave. It will also leave you look more naturally tan. Last thing I do is wash my hands, make sure you do this immediately after you finish or you'll end up with tan palms and that's not always a good look.
Other things you should always do before self tanning: apply to freshly cleaned, dry skin. Exfoliate prior to self tanning and slowly build up the color, never apply four coats at one time. I also suggest waiting eight to twelve hours before washing your face again.

Haul; Mostly Highend Makeup
Hey,
Lately I have done a bit of shopping, I made an order from Mac, Sephora, and Urban Decay. I also picked up a few things from Wal Mart. Starting with Mac I just got two eye shadows in Gesso and Antiqued. Gesso is a matte white and Antiqued is a shimmer bronze shade,
From Sephora I bought a Stila Lip Glaze Trio, the colors are Peach Blossom, Pink Orchid, and Lilac. I also got the Becca Beach Tint Duo, this is a brand I haven't seen or heard much about or even tried till now, I really like these though they are really pigmented and gorgeous colors. It's one of those products that a little goes a long way. The colors are Watermelon and Fig, Fig is nude and Watermelon is mid tone pink.
In my opinion the most exciting thing I bought in this haul the Nars And God Created the Women, this is my first Nars product and this palette is absolutely gorgeous, it is very small but still very nice. The colors in this palette are Alhambra, Bellisima, Kalahari, Galapagos, Coconut Grove, and Night Clubbing
From Wal Mart I got a Covergirl Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in Watermelon Twist, I'm a little late on picking one of these up as usual. I got another Maybelline Color Tattoo this one is in Inked Pink, this looks so beautiful with Scratch from the previously mentioned Urban Decay palette. Lastly I bought another Covergirl product I got the Flamed Out mascara in Very Black Blaze this one is also water resistant, I'm going to review this in a week or two.

Then I ordered from Urban Decay, when I order from a brands site instead of Sephora I only buy items that are either on sale or exclusively sold on their site. The three items I got are on sale and should still be on the site. I got two cream blushers in Greedy which sheers out to be a nice berry and Quickie which gives the most beautiful pinkish peach glow. I also got the Deluxe Shadow palette.

The next thing I got was the Stila Trio in Warm, I love Stila eyes shadow and these are such a great deal, the colors are Brulee, Sorbet and Truffle. Brulee is a matte cream, Sorbet is a shimmery peach and Truffle is a bronze shade. All of these are on the light side but can give enough dimension without having to add in more colors.

We Can't Stop by Miley Cyrus Inspired EOTD

I am not a Miley fan but I have seriously been obsessing with this song, if you haven't heard it yet some how you need to go listen to it right now! Her makeup in the music video is so light and natural but yet gorgeous. It is seriously the simplest thing to do, but yet it looks so pretty. The color is a bit more noticeable without flash and in person.
What I Used:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden
- Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded
- Coastal Scents Fall Festival Palette, shades: Light Apricot, Chamois Nude, Bright Copper, and Gunmetal
- Other great lid options would be: Urban Decay Chopper or Sin, Mac All That Glitters, or Stilas Kitten, the lid color in Wet n Wild Color Icon trio in Walking on Eggshells.
- NYC Eye pencil, not sure what the product is called but it's one of the dollar liners in Charcoal
- Rimmel Lyrca Lash Extender Mascara
- Rimmel ScandalEyes kohl liner in Nude

- I primed my eyes and then used the color tattoo as a base.
- Using my finger I mixed a tiny bit of the Bright Copper shade with the Light Apricot eye shadow and patted that onto the lid, and blended it slightly into the crease. You want more of the Light Apricot shadow then the Bright Copper.
- I used the nude liner under my brow and blended that out and over top of that I used the Chamois Nude to high light.
- I lined my water line and tight line with the gray liner and then set that with the Gunmetal shadow. I pressed this into my top lash line, this gives a liner effect but it much softer then liner, in the video it looked like she had on eyeliner but it was very soft and not intense like a black.
- Lastly I applied mascara this really helps give the liner look she had in the video, its much softer then black but defined.

Velvet Red Lips
Hey,
I love a red lip, its beautiful, classic but yet timeless. Every girl can pull it off once you find your perfect red. But really the trick to the red lip is confidence and of course knowing what kind of eye makeup to pair with! I love a matte red the most, but lately I have been doing a velvet like effect when doing a red lip and I wanted to share with you how I do it! I am not good at taking pictures of my lips, it's quite difficult, but my lips look really big and full in the picture so that's a plus! That shine is all the shimmer, I also do this with baby powder when I want a purely matte lip.

What I used:
- Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss Edition in the Red tube in 111, I think it's name is Kiss of Life
- Avon Glimmersticks Lip Liner in Red Brick
- Coastal Scents Hot Pot in American Rose, a medium red with a shimmer/satin finish
- Concealer, I used a concealer that was too light but I suggest using one that matches your skin tone, I just couldn't find mine at the time. You can see the difference, but this makes the red look much neater and pop even more!
- I applied the lipstick, personally I just go straight out of the tube but you can use a brush if your a perfectionist.
- Then I cleaned up any mistake I made by using the lipstick straight from the tube, a lip brush should help eliminate this step! I also use this part to shape my lips, I like a more round pouty lip so I don't use lipstick in the corners of my lips and I round the edges out to give this effect.
- I used the liner which is a bight darker then the lipstick to outline my lips and fill in the corners a little. This helps give dimension to the lip. I do this afterwards because I find that it just works better to give this effect.
- I then set this, you can use an eyeshadow brush but I just use my fingers, I take some of the shadow and press it onto the lips, this will make your lips dry. It mattifies the lipstick but gives it a satin almost velvet effect. This looks more velvet like in person then in a photo.

June Favorites 2013

Were half way through 2013! This summer is flying by and it's that time for monthly favorites, I haven't done one of these in a while and I don't have to many things but I still wanted to share what I have been loving this month!
Lets start with the thing I have loved the most, Naked Basics. What can I say, everyone raved about this palette and what's not to love a palette of five matte neutrals and one shimmer. I have used this palette loads throughout the month, its so great for grunge looks to classic pin up looks. Out of all the colors my favorite has to be Walk of Shame, just a matte skin tone but yet it is so beautiful and great on the lid.
Next are the two most used lip colors of the month, I rave about these lipsticks all the time and that would be the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks, especially the Kate Moss line. The color I have obsessed over this month is 110, a gorgeous bright coral, great for summer. The other lip color I have loved is one of the L'oreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Rose On and On, I hate the packaging but love the color and product, I don't feel like it last for ever but I do like the texture, it's not for everyone since it is quite sticky and not always very comfortable/
Back to eye products, the Rimmel Lycra Lash Extender is so nice, at first it wasn't anything special but now it's so amazing it lengthens and add a bit of volume. Another Rimmel product I have been loving are the ScandalEyes kohl liners in Dark Brown and Nude, I have been using the brown in my tightline and switching between it and the nude in my waterline. I also really like using the nude under my brow to really highlight and make my brow stand out. Last thing for the eyes would be the Maybelline 24 hour color tattoo in Barely Branded. Just shimmer skin tone, its great under shadows, I don't personally use this on its on, I tried it once and creased on my in an hour.
Last product would be the ELF Contouring and Blush Duo, this is the original one. The bronzer is the perfect shade for my skin. I personally love a strong contour and this give me an almost drag queen one!
I have seriously been terrible at blogging these past week, but I have a few post coming out this next week. What are you favorite products this month?

Mani Monday: Caramel Cupcake
Hey,
This week I went with Rimmel 60 Second polish in Caramel Cupcake, its a pretty nude. Unfortunately this color is not flattering with my skin tone, so if you have a medium skin tone you may want to pass on this polish, although it looks gorgeous in the sun; it makes your hands look like mannequin hands. It would probably look nice on some one with either a dark skin tone or a light skin tone. The polish itself is great, has nice lasting power, goes on opaque in two coats which for a nude this cheap is amazing, it also applies so easily. These polishes truly are great and I would recommend them, but this shade just isn't a good color for me.
I think from now on I'm going to include picture of what the polish looks like in natural light and in the sun. I'm also going to try to get back into blogging by doing at least three post a week.

Collective Haul
Hey,
I'm not going to waste any time and just jump right into these products because there is quite a few so lets start with my favorite lipstick! I also want to add I haven't tried many of these most were bought today.
From left to right: Revlons 012 Sky Pink and 668 Primrose, Rimmel 110, 111 Kiss of Life, and 17 and lastly Maybelline from the Vivids in Shocking Coral, as you probably know I love Rimmel lipsticks and I'm getting pretty close to having all of the red ones, I'm patiently waiting for the Apcolips lipglosses to come to the US but I have a feeling from what I have hear about those they will be like the Kate lipsticks and I will feel the need to get them all, does anyone know when they are coming to the US?
From left to right: 110(swatched twice), 111 Kiss of Life, 17, Sky Pink, Primrose
From left to right: Red Dynamite, Spice (both not mentioned yet but next), Shocking Coral and 110 again.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl pencil liner in Nude, Lasting Finish lip liners in 021 Red Dynamite, I thought that I got a different color but you can never have enough reds and 011 Spice, I love these liners I haven't used these specific colors yet but all three are fantastic!
What kind of haul would this be without nail polish! From left to right: Maybelline Color Show in Orange Fix, Rimmel 60 seconds in 710 Sunny Days, 220 Sage All the Rage, and 311 Caramel Cupcake, Sally Hanson Complete Salon Manicure in 250 Mudslide and 290 Commander in Chic, even though it's summer I have been loving and by that I mean obsessing over nudes lately, especially ones leaning on the taupe side.
Salon Perfect Lashes in Demi Wispies, these are gorgeous I wore them for my graduation and they looked amazing without any mascara! Revlon Clear Precision Lash Adhesive, I like this but I don't think its as great as everyone makes it out to be, maybe it was just the way used it but it did last the whole time I needed it to so I have no complaints. Rimmel Clean Finish Matte in Classic Beige, sorry for the crappy pictures, I really like this with a primer and setting powder it last the whole day for me, it doesn't stay matte but it doesn't look bad either.
Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal in 70 Barely Branded, I finally caved and got one! Rimmel Match Perfect concealer in medium and Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro in 002, this when swatched was really nice so I have high hopes for it and all of these products!
Lastly I finally picked up Naked 2, I already have the original but I knew I wanted both and what can I say I am a sucker for mattes so I had to get the Naked Basics too, and already Walk of Shame is my new favorite shadow!
Next time Rite Aid has a 40% off Wet n Wild I plan on picking some stuff up so be expecting a haul from that soon! Have you tried any of these, what are your thoughts on them? Sorry for bad swatches and pictures! Also for this not being anything more then right to the point to get through it, but a lot of these I didn't have much of an opinion on yet, if there is anything you would like reviewed let me know!
Also I know I have been very on and off with my blogging but I have been super busy and I should get back to track soon now that I'm done with school, I also mught do a clothing haul soon, even though fashion isn't my thing.

Sunset Eyes
Hey, lately I have been playing around with colors, trying to master using nothing but colors and mixing in no neutrals. I am a neutral girl, I wear them everyday and have them mastered and therefore I don't really step into the realm of colored makeup and this spring I am making it my goal to experiment and wear more colors, other then on my lips! Whether it be bright cheeks or bright eyes I am going to start breaking out of my shell and rocking them more! And I suggest this to all of you neutral lovers too!
So I decided to share my recreation of a sunset look, I have seen pictures of these looks all over the Internet lately and loved the look so I wanted to give it ago and I loved the way it turned out so I wanted to share it with you!
Products I used:
UD Primer Potion in Eden
Coastal Scents 42 Double Stack Matte palette, both yellow shades, bright orange, red light and medium, tan, white, blue and turquoise shades
ELF Liquid Eyeliner
Wet n Wild Coloricon eyeliner in Turquoise
LA Color eyeliner in Electric Blue
Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes in Black
What I did:
First thing, of course, I primed my eyes with UD Primer Potion, I then swept the tiniest bit of a tan shade into my crease to help with blending, this isn't a must I just like to do this, in the end you will not see this at all. After that I started with the colors on the lid, I first put a light yellow on the inner third of my lid and inner corner, after that I used an orangish yellow in the middle, I blended the two yellow shades together, they where fairly close to each other and blended into each other easily. Then I added the orange onto the outer third, this took a little more blending but I just went over the line with the two colors till it was a seamless transition. I then blended a red into the crease and outer v, I used a lighter red to help blend this out and then highlighted with a white and blended it all out more. Before moving onto liner and the lash line I went over the colors on my lid to get the brightness I wanted. I did a quick thin winged liner close to the lashes, nothing special or perfect. I put a bright blue liner to represent water in my water line and a turquoise liner under that in the lashes. I set these and blended them out with coordinating colors. I also blended the turquoise shadow a bit under the wing. Lastly I applied a few coats of mascara.
For this look I would just do a bronzed cheek, nude lip and a cute black sundress or even one with one of the colors in the look like orange, yellow or red. It would also look great with false lashes.
Are you daring enough to wear a look like this in public?

Beauty Things I Suck At!
Hey, so I love this tag, and I decided I should share the beauty things I suck at with you.
First off I suck at putting mascara on, I don't know how many pictures I have uploaded to my blog that consist of mascara on my lid or under my lashes were it shouldn't be. To make that worse I always forget to clean it up or just don't care too.
Another thing I suck at is braiding my hair, whether its a simple side braid, fish tail, or french braid I can never do them or at least not well, I can handle the side braid but it's always loose and messy.
Touching up my makeup seems to be impossible for me, lipstick I can handle but powder is just too much for me.
Not chipping away my nail polish, when I get bored I seriously peel it off, only after it already starts chipping on its own, but still its not cute.
Keeping my brushes clean, now I'm not the type of person to do weekly cleanings but I wish I was, I don't go more then a month but its still unsanitary and something I should fix.
Colorful makeup, this one I really am working on, I have for the most part gotten how to do it down, and have a few post coming up of a few things that I have done, but I never wear it out, and sometimes no matter how good it looks I just can't pull it of.
Another nail thing, I can with patients manage to do a perfect manicure, but when it comes to painting my nails I always seem to be lacking with that patients.
Keeping my vanity clean, come the end of the week I have makeup everywhere and then you get those weeks that I don't clean it up and for two straight weeks I can't find anything cause nothing gets put back! Going along with this I suck at clearing out the lipsticks in my bag!
Nail art is not my game, on top of not being able to do it, I am always to lazy to even give it a try!
Using a setting spray seems to be impossible to remember along with curling my lashes!
What are some beauty things you can suck at, I could honestly go on forever but I figured a short post would be better then a book!
Thanks for reading, please leave any request below!

March Favorites! 2013
Hey,
This March has been crazy for me but it really did seem to just fly by. I was looking through my makeup and picking through the things I have really been loving this month and it turns out I have been a bit lip obsessed. This is also my 100 post! Sorry for the long paragraph and the shine in the photos.
Starting with the top row, Hard Candy Glamoflauge, I have this in light. It is so light, even on me and I have fairly pale skin, I like to use this in the center of my face without a foundation to conceal my redness and then bronze the outer part of my face, it is full coverage though and fairly thick. The two blushes I have been loving this month are Jordana Rose Silk and Rimmel Pink Sorbet, Rose Silk is a medium pink and Pink Sorbet is a nice peachy pink, both are so pretty for spring and summer and go with pretty much any look. The main look I've been doing this month has been using the Wet n Wild trio in Walking on Eggshells, I use the crease color all over my lid and through the crease, the brow bone shade as suggested and the lid shade as an inner corner highlight, I do add in another dark brown shade into my outer v. Now for lips, I have been loving bold lips lately and the new Rimmel Kate Moss matte lipsticks, 101 is a nude/pink that is truly a my lips but better shade for me, this has turned out to be my perfect nude. 107 is a gorgeous berry, I have been wearing this when I want a bold lip over a red, and I honestly love red lips so that just screams this lipstick is a must. Along with the nude lips I have been loving the combo of yet again another Rimmel product, their Lasting Finish 1,000 Kisses lip liner in Natural and Tiramisu, I use Tiramisu on the edge and then fill in the corners with it too and use Natural in the center to add dimension. For glosses this month I have been loving Rimmel Stay Glossy in Here to Stay, I love this over the lip liner combo, it makes a gorgeous nude lip. The other gloss I've been loving this month is by Milani it's one of their Crystal Glosses in Pucker Up, this is so gorgeous over the Rimmel lipstick in 101. Lastly I decided to try something new for my brows so I picked up Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel, I don't like the brush part but the color is perfect for me and I do like the actual product.
Overall this month I have been loving Rimmel, what are some of your favorites this month? I have also really been loving curling my hair lately with small and medium hot rollers and hair oils.

Mani Monday; Mimosa's before Mani's
Hey,
This week I decided to use another one of the polishes I hauled last week, I used Peachy Keen as my accent nail. Both polishes are from China Glaze, Mimosa's Before Mani's is from the Avant Collect, Peachy Keen is a permanent color. I love this combination and have talked about Peachy Keen many times and its been in several Mani Mondays. Mimosa's Before Mani's is a beautiful coral that leans more pink then orange, there is a very subtle shimmer in it, but it appears to be a creme finish on your nails. This is a perfect spring combo and I suggest both these polishes. I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat with no base coat. It did wear off a bit on my pointer fingers after about three days and then it started to chip the fourth day so that isn't to great but the polish is still gorgeous and I am rough on my nails. The polish isn't that bright in person, it's more pastel. Sorry for the non cropped picture.
Last weeks haul, featuring Mimosa's Before Mani's, here. Mani Mondays including Peachy Keen: Peachy Keen With a Gold Sheen and Peach and Periwinkle, it was also mentioned in my favorite spring polish post which can be viewed here.

Influenster SweetHeart VoxBox

I'm a little late on that, no surprise seeing how much I have blogged in the past three months. I got this box in the beginning of March, I love Influenster, I think it's a great site and who doesn't love to receive free samples. In this box I got a Not Your Mothers Beach Babe texturizing sea salt spray, Olay Fresh Effects Va-Va-Vivid! Powered Contour Cleansing System which comes with a sample of Shine, Shine Go Away! Shine Minimizing Cleanser, Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response deodorant in Serene Citrus, and a Skinnygirl Daily On-the-Go bar in coco-nut with peanut butter.
I really liked the Beach Babe spray, it added nice beachy waves to my hair, it is also pretty affordable, I do prefer to make my own sea salt spray though so I probably won't repurchase this unless I get lazy. It actually does have sea salt in it, which is nice and it doesn't have a ton of ingredients. The name and bottle are quite cute too! I do recommend this to any one who doesn't want to make their own sea salt spray.
The contour cleansing system is really great, I wouldn't say it's as good as a Clarisonic but it is nice and pretty cheap also. It really doesn't exfoliate, but I don't think that's the point. It does massage your cleanser into your skin better then your fingers. I liked the cleanser it came with but I really don't think it was anything special and I wouldn't repurchase it, it definitely didn't do anything to prevent or minimize shin for me. It smelled nice and cleaned my skin but that's about it. I use the cleansing system with my normal face wash and like it just as much, and will definitely continue using it and would repurchase the actual system.
Alright the deodorant, I don't wear deodorant everyday, that may sound gross but I don't sweat much and find that when I wear it, it makes me sweat which is strange and defeats the purpose of deodorant in my opinion, I also don't like wearing it after I shave. This smells amazing, its like candy, I don't like the texture of it though, its not a gel or a stick or even a liquid. It weird and wet, feels kind of strange to be honest. I do like the smell a lot though and feel like it last all day and I can smell it throughout the day. It's a nice deodorant but nothing amazing. I stress out easily but I don't get stress sweat so I can't speak for whether it combats stress sweat.
I'm not going to talk much about the on the go bar, I didn't like it, I love coconut but it was gross, maybe you would like it but I didn't and this isn't anything close to a food blog. It was fairly low calorie though so that was nice.

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Nail Polish Haul
Hey,
So last week wasn't the best week for me, and therefore I treated myself to a few new nail polishes, personally I feel nothing makes up for a bad week like a few new bottles of nail polish. Usually I only get a few at a time like one to three bottles, this time I went a little overboard. I bought these in two separate days and at three different stores. So lets just jump right into this, starting with drugstore polishes. I just want to apologize about the glare on the photos, glass doesn't photograph well.

From left to right: Sinful Colors: All About You, Lush Life, Beautiful Girl, Easy Over, Rimmel Bare Naked, Sally Hansen Coin Flip and Mighty Mango.
From left to right: China Glaze: Mimosa's Before Mani's, Fancy Pants(more purple in person), Tart-y for the Party, Fade Into Hue, Sunday Funday, and Deviantly Daring. All of these except for Deviantly Daring are from the Avant Garden collection, I suggest checking this collection out if you haven't yet, great spring polishes, but be warned if you see the whole collection you might want to buy them all.
I have been on the hunt for a good dark teal polish that is a creme finish, I can only find medium and light ones that have no shimmer, do you know of any good ones that are under ten dollars?
I just did a Mani Monday post featuring Bare Naked and Coin Flip, if you want to see what those two polishes look like on nails you can check that post out here.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick
Hey,

These lipsticks are my favorite drugstore lipsticks, I have like 13 of them, not going to lie I intend on collecting them all, or at least all of the Kate Moss ones. These are all the same formula, except for the matte ones, but other then that the normal line and the Kate Moss ones are the same. These lipsticks aren't drying at all, including the matte ones, which is hard to find a non-drying matte lipstick. They don't catch dry skin or fall into the lines on your lips, they go on great. They are supposed to be a long lasting lipstick, but I wouldn't consider them long lasting, they last for around two hours. They have great pigmentation and smell like candy, the matte ones(in the red packaging) smell terrible though, or at least I think they do, but they smell isn't unbearable. They come in a wide selection, although there are more nudes then anything else, but with that being said they have a nude for every skin tone. My personal favorites are the Kate Moss ones in 101(matte), 102(matte), 107(matte), 01, and from the regular Lasting Finish line 006 Pink Blush. I would suggest these to everyone, they have a color for everyone and are affordable, they can be found at most drugstores and range from 4.50$ to 6.00$. They have 37 shades to chose from and are definitely worth a try. My only complaint would be they have a wider selection in the UK and should really just release all the colors they have everywhere because I really would love to be able to get my hands on some of the colors they have over there, but other then that I have no complaint for these lipsticks.
Thanks for reading, please leave any request below! Sorry if this review isn't the best, its been a while since I wrote one and just need to get into the hang of it again.

Mani Monday: Nude Nails

Last week I bought a few new nail polishes, I will upload a haul either tomorrow or Thursday, I picked up these two colors: Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro in Bare Naked which is on all of my nails except my ring finger which has Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Coin Flip. I generally don't go for colors like this. I love this two paired together, I also have Coin Flip on my toe nails.
Bare Naked is a gorgeous nude with a very subtle shimmer and Coin Flip is a gold with sliver shimmer, it is a metallic. Both are holding up pretty well so far, I painted my nails on Saturday and I have no chips. I used the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat and no base coat. Coin Flip took two coats and Bare Naked took three, but it should work with two my nails are just a bit stained right now. These are both great polishes and the colors would look great with most skin tones.

DIY Sea Salt Spray
Hey,

So it has been quite some time since I last made a post, this is actually the first of the year, not that good. I have been super busy lately balancing school, boyfriend, friends, and sleep I just haven't really had much time for the Internet at all. But today I had lots of time and I should have more time now then I have been having, since I had time I wanted to share a DIY sea salt spray with you. I personally love messy beach hair, and it is great for the summer and spring, although I rock this all year round.
All you need for this is sea salt and water, I add in conditioner and gel to make it better for my hair and to help hold the waves. Your also going to need some sort of spray bottle.
I add a tablespoon or two of the salt into a cup of water, I use hot water so it dissolves faster but cold works too. Then I add about a tablespoon of both the conditioner and hair gel. I mix this altogether then pour it into my spray bottle. I use this all up in about two weeks to a month, so I really don't know how long this would last but I would say to make a new one monthly.
To use this I just spray it in my hair, sometimes I dampen m hair first, this helps a bit better but I don't always do this then I scrunch up my hair. After that I use the Garnier Surf texturizing paste and scrunch my hair a bit more. After that I hairspray my hair a decent bit and scrunch even more, this doesn't give you a scrunched look it just helps form the waves. Also if you sleep with your hair in braids come morning it will give you even better waves.
I hope this helps you out, I have only tried a few from the drugstore before and find this works just the same if not better. If your not feeling making your own the Not Your Mothers Beach Babe is my favorite drugstore one and its pretty cheap.

This or That Tag!
Hey,
I stumbled upon this tag the other day and thought it would be a really fun tag to do. I'm not going to tag anyone, but it is a fun tag to both read and do :)

Lip gloss or Lipstick: lipstick, never been a fun of gloss
Eye liner or Mascara: mascara, I feel this can do the job of both if done right :)

Brushes or Sponges: brushes, I feel they do a better job.
Nails:
OPI or China Glaze: China Glaze, it so much cheaper and just as good in mu opinion.
Long or Short: long, I love long nails, but my actual nails don't grow long at all!
Acrylic or Natural: this one is really tough, I love acrylic nails I just don't like the price or the damage they cause, so I am going to go with natural.
Brights or Darks: darks, I go for darks more then brights, although I prefer pastels.
Flower or No flower: no flower, I have no nail art skills so flowers and other designs don't ever happen on my nails.
Body:
Perfume or Body splash: perfume, they last longer, although I do love the Victora's Secret Pink body splash, but they have perfume quailties.
Lotion or Body butter: body butter, I have super dry hands in the winter and lotion just doesn't cut it.
Body wash or Soap: body wash, does anyone else feel like soap leaves a weird sticky feeling behind, or is it just me?
Lush or Other bath company: there isn't a lush in my area, nor am I a big fan of bath type companies, but I'll go with Bath and Body Works since their stuff smells good.
Fashion:

Long sleeve or Short: another neither, I actually like mid length, but I pick long.

Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe: Charlotte Russe, I don't have a Forever21 in my area and Charlotte Russe has amazing shoes.
Abercombie or Hollister: There is no Abercombie in my area, and I have never been in Hollister, it makes me nauseous just walking past it.
Saks 5th or Nordstrom: neither or these stores are in my area, so I have never been to either.
Hair:
Curly or Straight: curly, I hate straightening my hair, and it never stays straight.
Bun or Ponytail: buns, I love doing those sock buns.
Bobby pins or Butterfly clips: bobby pins, they are more discreet.
Hair spray or Gel: hairspray, I never do anything with my hair while it's wet and I think it would be odd to add gel once it's dry/
Long or Short: long, I just feel I look weird with short hair.
Light or Dark: dark, I have always loved my hair dark.
Side sweep Bangs or full bangs: side swept, I have done both, and let me just say that the full bangs were a bad idea for me, although I do love the way they look I just can't pull them off.
Up or Down: down, it's like a security blanket for me to have my hair down.
