Fire Flies

Hello there:)

So I was inspired to do this look from fireflies(fun fact I am terrified of fire flies, actually all beetles), it's a night look of course, since fireflies or lightning bugs only come out at night time well they only light up at night. This look is using the Coastal Scents 42 Double Stack Matte palette. This look is matte, but I did add some sparkles because they light up and I just thought sparkles when I thought of the lighting up and its using a total of five colors but really you could get away with using five colors, I just blended a few together to get the ones I wanted and you can use any shadows you'd like that are similar to the ones I used, you can also switch out the green and put in silver, I've done that many times and it looks so gorgeous like that too, I'll probably do that for my next night time look. Now onto the the look...

Products Used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
ELF Cream Eyeliner in black(I have a review on this)
Coastal Scents 42 double stack matte palette(review coming soon)
Sparkle Effect Loose Glitter in Pearly White, this comes off a bit green and they have one called Gleaming Green which probably would work better
Avon SuperShock Waterproof Mascara
Lashes (optional)
I used only six brushes for this, two packs, a concealer brush for the glitter, a pencil brush, angled, and blending brush.

I used the colors in red and then mixed the colors in black together to get the perfect color. Use any palette you have, and now that I look at this picture I realize that I mixed the two olive shades and the dark green shades together to get a perfect color to blend between the black and green/yellow shade. Use any colors that correspond to these or that are the same without the blending.

First take you cream liner or pencil liner and draw a shape similar to this, make a shape that works for your eye shape, you want it to go half way in your crease and then make like a crescent shape and meet with the lash line, I really hope that makes sense. It doesn't have to look perfect!

Nest fill in your shape with liner then a matte black shadow, also light blend the edges out but not to much, this is one of those looks that don't really involve much blending. You can put tape on the edge of your eye to keep it sharp if you find it hard to keep that line sharp, I find that making a line with the liner keeps mine sharp but do what works best for you.

Then just pack on a greenish yellow shade, like I mentioned before I blended two shades to get this but you could use any color that matches this or that is similar to this that you already own.

I added some white shadow with a light hand under the brow to highlight and and took a dark green and blended in between the green and black to give a nice gradient. Then I simply lined my upper lash line and water line and outer half of my lower lash line. Then I put some orange shade on the inner part to represent the liner on the fire flies backs.

Then I put a little bit of lash glue just on the green under my crease and let it get tacky before packing on some glitter, this is of course optional, I think it looks pretty either way.

Lastly just set your liner, put on some mascara and lashes and your all done. I didn't really spend much time on my lashes like I normally would have. I also filled my brows in a bit stronger then normal because of how bold this look is.

Thanks for reading, more to come, please leave your opinions and request below, I really hope you liked this look and give it a try!

Sally Beauty Supply Haul; Mini.

Hello there :)

So a little over a week ago I went to Sally Beauty Supply, I needed to get perm rods and perm solution. I ended up getting a few polishes and no perm rods, but I did get the solution.

Sorry for the not so great photo.
So this is all I got, a total of six things.

As I mentioned in a previous post I am going to be perming my hair soon, my mother is a licensed cosmotologist so she's going to be doing it instead of me getting it done at a salon. I got Quantum 5 perming solution, from what I picked up bewtween my mom and the lady at sallys its supposed to produce normal curls and a normal hold. Honestly I don't have much of a clue as to what that means other then the curls won't be extra loose or extra tight. We couldn't decide on the rods to get; we were going to get those bendy rods but then my mom came up with the idea to try a pin curl perm and I was all for it, I love the way pin curls look, but for pin curls you either use metal aligator clips or bobby pins, so we had to pick up some plastic double prong clips to hold to curls down, we got two packs but we have to get more, they only had two packs in stock. After I perm my hair I'm going to do a post on all the fun stuff as to the time, the products, how my hair came out, and so on.

Of course I couldn't go to Sallys without picking up a bottle or two of nail polish. The Finger Paints was reduced so I couldn't pass that up and I have yet to give them a try so I'll probably feature one of these polishes in next Mani Monday, and if its the Finger Paints one I'll let you know my first impressions on it.

I don't know how well you can read that but the color is in Go Van Gogh! Its a pretty green, I'd say either a kelly green or forest green, it's a medium/dark blue based green. I'll probably toss it in with my fall and winter polishes after giving it a try.

Next one is Re-Fresh Mint, I needed a new mint polish, so I picked up this one, plus I have been eying this polish up for a while now, this is just a typical mint, in the bottle it looks to be a light mint thats more on the white side if that makes sense; it's not a in your face mint, more of a muted mint.

Lastly is For Audrey, pretty well known China Glaze polish, they have been out of this the last few times I was at Sallys so I hadn't gotten it til now. This is similar to a Tiffany blue, so in other words and nice mid toned muted blue with light hints of green, I hope that was a good description of this shade. Honestly I don't know why I picked up three green or greenish polishes, its honestly quite strange even to me.

Review: ELF Cream Eyeliner in Black

Metallic Olive
Hello There:)

This is a review on ELFs Cream Eyeliner in black, I haven't tried any of the other colors yet, but I do plan to sometime soon and once I do I'll probably review those too. Although from what I hear they're not as good as the black one. Now on to the review.
This liner isn't the most creamy cream liner but it is workable, and doesn't dry up easily. It has good pigmentation, and comes with a mini brush, the brush isn't the best but it does do the job for those who don't have any or many brushes, it is also nice for beginners. I would recommend this for people just looking to try cream or gel eyeliner for the first time or those sick of paying 20 dollars for a gel liner that just dries up in a month or two. I found this to be quite easy to apply and long lasting. It lasts all day(especially once set with shadow); even on my waterline, which from what I found is safe for the waterline. The packaging is really nice also and it comes with .17 ounce and for me that has lasted over a year and hasn't dried up completely but honestly it needs thrown out, I wouldn't recommend keeping it more then five months tops; I just hate wasting product even though I know I should throw it out and I don't use this daily so to me it's not that germy like it would be if I did use it daily even though it really is but I haven't gotten an eye infection yet so we're all good still, and with that being said I did actually repurchase this because it really is a great liner.
All in all I would recommend this to people especially those who want to try cream or gel liners but are hesitant on spending 20 dollars on something they aren't sure about, it's a really nice liner that has good pigmentation and is a nice rich dark black liner that last all day long; it's also affordable and can often be found on sale for half off on the ELF website. This also makes for a good base for a black or deep colored smokey eyes, it looks gorgeous under a medium/dark shimmery purple eyeshadow.

This liner comes 11 shades, and cost 3.00usd and 3.50pounds. In the US you can buy this and other ELF products in Target, and you can purchase ELF at www.eyeslipsface.com (US) or www.eyeslipsface.co.uk (UK).

Thanks for reading, next review is going to be on Avon Glazewear Lipglosses.

25 Question Tag

Hello there:)
This is my kitty, Emma, I just wanted to add a picture so this wasn't all words. This is one of my favorite pictures of my cat.
So I decided I wanted to do this tag, I wasn't tagged nor do I really know if this is much of a blog tag but I wanted to do it anyways, I'm also not going to tag anyone. I thought it would be a good post to do to help complete one of my goals for the 7 things I aim to achieve.
QUESTIONS:
1. Do you have any pets? Yes, I have two cats, two chinchilla, two hamsters, a guinea pig, and a tortoise. I know that may seem like a lot but I am an animal lover...
2. Name 3 things that are physically close to you. A remote, snuggie, and a cat.
3. What's the weather like right now? Hot and humid.
4. Do you drive? If so have you crashed? No and no, I'm terrified of cars, so currently I do not have my license I do intend on getting it in the next year though, and my mom doesn't want me driving til I have a job which I have yet to get, being young as long as possible but do need to get on that soon, although I figure I'm better off just waiting til I'm 18 to get my license because if I were to get a job tomorrow I would probably have a month wait before getting my permit and then I'd have another six months to wait so I ought to just wait til I'm 18 and really don't have to wait to get my license after my permit, I live in Pennsylvania by the way and we have a six month wait after getting your permit well under 18.
5. What time did you wake up this morning? About twelve, it's summer...
6. When was the last time you showered? This morning, actually around twelve but it was my morning.
7. What was the last movie you saw? Scary Movie 3, I've seen that movie too many times.
8. What does your last text message say? Okay this is really strange but here it is; Do you want to make Power Puff Girls with me, I have the sugar, spice and everything nice your just going to have to bring the chemicals that caused the reaction that made them have powers...? The reply was; chemical x? and then I said yes, are you in? We can name them Lucinda, Sheriesh, and you can name the last one. The reply was Yeah I'm in! My answer to that was, alright, when do you want to do this we have to keep it on the down low; and now I'm sharing this amongst the Internet... I know it was only supposed to be the last one, but I can't just tell you that and not share the conversation, you might think I'm dealing or receiving drugs or other illegal things.
9. What's your ringtone? Disasterology by Pierce the Veil
10. Have you ever been to a different country? Nope, I haven't really traveled much upon America let alone other countries.
11. Do you like sushi? No, I tried it years ago and hated the taste of the seaweed and the rice was too sticky for me.
12. Where do you buy your groceries? Wal Mart
13. Have you ever taken medication to help you fall asleep faster? Yes, I find it doesn't help much though, I have a hard time getting to sleep often.
14. How many siblings do you have? One sister, shes older.
15. Do you have a desktop computer or a laptop? Laptop
16. How old will you be turning on your next birthday? 18
17. Do you wear contacts or glasses? Both, I have terrible vision, but usually I don't wear either even though I should, but I usually wear glasses around the house and contacts when I'm out and about.
18. Do you color your hair? Yes, but only a few times a year, I dye it black but recently I dyed it Dark Auburn, I'm going to do a post about my hair after I perm it.
19. Tell me something you are planning to do today. Write a few blog post, other then that nothing just going to go with the flow today.
20. When was the last time you cried? Can't remember probably with in this last week or two though.
21. What is your perfect pizza topping? Bell peppers.
22. Which do you prefer-hamburgers or cheeseburgers? Neither, I don't eat meat and when I did I didn't eat hamburgers because I didn't like their taste or texture.

24. What is your eye color? Hazel, there a brown/green color.
25. Can you taste the difference between Pepsi and Coke? Yes, I don't really drink pop but there is definitely a difference between the two, Cokes better in my opinion.

EOTD: Orange and copper

 Hello there:)

With my eye open normal, I open it really wide for pictures; you can see a lot of the color and it looked pretty if you like orange and copper, it was subtle but still different.

I was just playing around today with my eye makeup and came up with this, its different then my normal look and I thought it was pretty so I figured I would share with all of you, and look at that to post today, wooh! If you would like to see a tutorial on exactly how I did this just leave a comment below telling me. I paired this with a pale pink blush, which I used lightly and some bronzer, of course highlighter too, and lastly a nude pink lip, I used Airy Fairy from Rimmel , but I think a more nude lip would have looked better. I also forgot to highlight the inner corner, so thats another thing I would have done.

What I have on:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Coastal Scents Fall Festival palette shades, # M004 Chamois Nude, # ME003 Bright Copper, # ME026 Deep Cantaloupe, # S030 Cherry Chocolate, and Hot Pot # ME023 New Penny. I also used # M023 Gunmetal to set my liner its a black with red sparkles.
ELF Cream Eyeliner, I have a review coming soon on this.
I don't remember what mascara I used it was by Maybelline and in the yellow packaging, I don't know the name.
I didn't use much brushes, a fluffy blending brush, eye contor brush, a different type of blender and my fingers instead of eyeshadow brushes to pack the color on, normally I use brushes I just wasn't feeling it today, and of course I used angled brushes for my eyeliner.

Mani Monday: Mint and Green

Hello there :)

This picture was taken before the pictures my nails.

So this week I wanted to test out a few new polishes I bought, mini haul coming this week. So the polishes I have on this week including my toe nails(fun fact, I only paint my toe nails once a month, usually), anyways I have on Finger Paints Go Van Gogh! and China Glaze Re-fresh Mint, on my toes I have China Glaze For Audrey. I just want to put this out there I buy China Glaze polishes because I can get them so cheap at Sally Beauty Supply, if I didn't get them for no more then 3.50usd then I wouldn't be so okay with buying them, I don't buy OPI or Essie because I think it's too expensive, but for me China Glaze is cheap, I'm going to include a link or two of where you can buy China Glaze for cheap with the other links.

I do paint my own nails so they're not perfect.

And I wanted to give my first impression on the Finger Paints polish, I mentioned this in my haul and said I would but this is going up sooner then that... The brush is small, but the cap is really nice like it just fits in your hand so well, the polish was very opaque but it was a dark polish and the consistency was nice, overall I thought it was a nice polish and I would consider buying more Finger Paints polishes, and my only complaint so far is the brush size, I'll update you next week upon the wear of the polish, by the way the NYC polish I had on last week didn't chip at all, pretty good for a dollar polish although it was only on my ring fingers so it probably would have chipped a bit on other fingers but I have found they are pretty good polishes for a dollar.

I really need to get the tattoo touched up,
but I did mention that I had this in
my One Lovely Blog Award post and
here he is, I named him Harold
when I got him done last year.

Links: China Glaze(legit site), Sally Beauty Supply, Finger Paints is this a brand sold in the UK?
Cheap China Glaze polish: 8ty8 Beauty, Head2toe Beauty. I am not affiliated with this companies nor have I ever purchased from them, I have heard people mention 8ty8 beauty before so I would imagine it's a legitimate site selling cheap China Glaze polish, the other site was one that popped up first so I assumed they were pretty reputable.

At Home Exfoliater

Hello There:)

This is not my photo, photo from http://cherrystainedlips.blogspot.com/2012/02/basic-sugar-scrub.html

So keeping on the Olive Oil theme, I'm going to tell you all about my favorite at home exfoliater. This is quite a well known at home exfoliater, all you need is two things for this Extra Virgin Olive Oil, olive oil is very moisturizing for your skin as well as your hair, you can also use almond or coconut oil if you don't have olive oil, and the molecules in it are too big to clog your pores so it is perfectly safe to put on your face and either brown sugar if you have sensitive skin, white sugar for those with normal skin, or sea salt, finely milled, this is good for acne prone skin that isn't sensitive because the sea salt can be a little more harsh on your skin but will help dry out your blemishes and clear them up. Of course using organic ingredients is best but not necessary. Sugar or salt scrubs are very popular facial scrubs you can buy at stores like Lush and through other skin care companies, but why not just make it your self for much less then they sell them.

So you want it to be two parts sugar, or salt and one part oil. If your just making this for your face to use then I suggest using tablespoons, so two tablespoons sugar or salt and one tablespoon of oil, if making for your body use half cups instead of tablespoons. When I make this I like to use one part sugar and one part salt, you can also mix in some honey or make it one part sugar one part oil if you would like a more liquidy exfoliater. Then you just mix that together, you want to store this in a jar of some type of container with a lid and keep it in the fridge, this last about a week or two and can be used on your face and body. If you use salt do not use it on your body after you just shaved. I suggest using this twice a week for normal skin, once a week for oily and three times a week for dry skin.

7 Things I Aim to Achieve.

Hello there:)
Go to http://sprinkleofglitter.blogspot.com/2012/06/interactive-7-things-for-7-days-june.html
to join in of the fun!
I absolutely adore Louise's blog and YouTube channel, so I decided I would join in on this fun activity she created on her blog. The idea of this is to make a goal of seven thing you would like to achieve in the next seven or so days. Something random but I thought I would mention it anyways, today is my cat Emma's birthday, shes five now.

1.Get my hair done, I have been planning on perming my hair for a while now and I just haven't got around to it. So this week I am going to get my hair done.

2. Read more, I love reading and I have a stack of book just waiting to be read, so I want to read at least one of those books.

3. Get more organized, I am one of those people who are just completely unorganized; so I'm going to make goal number three to get more organized.

4. Use the treadmill, I have a treadmill that never gets used, so for this week I'm going to use it everyday for at least 30 minutes, hopefully this will be able to continue on for the whole month and beyond.

5. Eat better, lately I have been craving cotton candy which I have not gotten yet and chocolate and its one of those cravings that I can not get rid of, nothing seems to solve this craving, so for the next week I don't want to eat any chocolate or non healthy food.

6. Make a blog post everyday of the week. I usually only do four a week well so far, although I do have in my mind that if something like say a haul or tag I would post it on a Tuesday or Thursday, so this week I'm going to blog everyday.

7. Lastly is to clean, this may go hand in hand with the organizing but to me its two totally different things, so I need to clean up my room so I can then organize it.

Thanks for reading! I will do a blog post in a week as to whither I went through with my goals or not.

How I Contor My Eyes

Hello There:)

As you can see this is simple and nothing special at all, it takes like five minutes and uses very few products.
Products used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
NYC Bronzer in Sunny
Maybelline Stylish Smoke in Made For Mocha
ELF Studio Blush in Gotta Glow
Avon Glimmersticks waterproof Brown Chocolate
Avon SuperShock waterproof mascara

First thing I do is take the bronzer and my blending brush and pack the color where its circled and blend where the line is, then I take the dark brown shadow and put it just where the red circle is and then lightly blend it in to the crease only going half way leaving the center shadow free.
Then add either your highlight or any shimmer eyeshadow that is a few shades lighter then your skin to the center of your lid and under your brow to highlight. I sometimes, well lately all the time use a light pink or peach blush in the middle of my eye and a light pink under the brow bone and tear duct and that looks super pretty.
Then just apply your liner, since this is a look I do when I'm in a hurry I only apply liner to my tightline and then half of the top and bottom in the lashes and blend it out with my finger so it doesn't look to harsh, I also use brown but you can use black, lastly I add a little bit of mascara not as much as I normally would, it looks much more done with two or three coats of mascara.

Thanks for reading! Please leave any request for any looks you like to see..

One Lovely Blog Award

Hello there :)

So I was awarded or "tagged" by theOMGdiaries to for the One Lovely Blog Award.

The rules are: share seven random facts about yourself and then share the love by awarding seven other blogs.

So here are my random facts!

1. I don't eat meat, I don't consider myself a vegetarian because I believe the word is used to loosely, as in some people who have been doing it for a week call themselves that and its only been a week that's not really a commitment to call yourself that, it's just a pet peeve of mine. anyways I haven't ate meat for over two years now, I also don't eat any thing that kills an animal like gelatin.

2. My favorite show is Law and Order SVU, I only like SVU all the other ones aren't as good in my opinion, although now that they got rid of Stabler it's not as good. He was my favorite character.

3. As odd and gross as this may sound I've seen the Human Centipede twice, my friend and I were looking through Netflix one night and we came across that and we had no clue what it was so we decided to watch it and almost vomited due to how gross it was and like a boy who smelled something gross I had to share it with a friend and watch it again. The second one wasn't as gross if you've seen the first one. Although nothing against Germans but that just caused me to never want to travel to Germany.

4. I am someone who speaks there minds and if some one does something I don't like or think is wrong I have no problem telling them, all though I do believe this isn't always the best thing to do, so I have been working on holding it back and keeping to myself.

5. I am a total cat lover, one of my future plans is to breed cats, I have two cats currently, I personally could never be someone to own more then three cats though unless they were kittens that were going to be sold.

6. I have two tattoos and three piercings. I have a tattoo of a Woodstock from the Peanuts on the inside of my left ankle and a camel on my toe; I also have my nose, Monroe(upper lip), and septum(middle) pierced, I only ever wear a nose stud though, everything else usually is out.

7. I intend on going to school for nursing, I was thinking vet tech but decided against it, but at the moment I'm still not entirely positive what I want to do in the future.

Review: Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quads

Hello there:)
As I said in my previous review I was going to review something from Avon, honestly I have a bit of an addiction to Avon, I just find catalog shopping so addictive kind of like online shopping. Now to get into the actual review, first I want to state that I do not own all of these, therefore I will only go off of the ones I own and do a general assumption based on characteristics that all of the ones I own have. I own five of these and there are currently 12 in the permanent line.
These have good pigmentation but they're no MAC or Urban Decay shadow, but with that being said they are buildable and easy to work with. They blend nicely and have a nice texture. From the ones I own I find there isn't much fall out or at least with the majority of the colors. Within the line its self they have a great color selection, although it wouldn't hurt them to add a few more colorful quads. All in all I do really like these shadows, most are shimmer from my experience but yet again most lower end eyeshadows are shimmer and contain very few matte shades, if your a shimmer person then this wont bother you but if your like me and like to mix up textures and have at least one matte shade in your look then this will be a problem. They do come with directions on where to put each shadow which is really great for beginners and they colors are all the right corresponding shades to create a nice look without needing any other shades. I do like a palette or quad to have good color range that I don't need to add any colors into so these are nice, I think we all can agree that in the morning when your on a tight schedule and need to be out the door like ten minutes ago it's nice to only have to grab one quad rather then multiple or a bunch of single shadows and these are good for that. My only complaints would be add more colors and matte shades but other then that these are really nice quads and I would recommend them to someone on a budget or that just wants a quad that they can use without needed to add in any more colors.
These quads retail for 9.00usd but are usually on sell for 4.99usd or other specials such as two for the price of one and can usually always be found on sale. You can purchase these through a representative or www.avon.com and if you don't already have a representative you can find you closest representative or even sign up and become an Avon representative your self.

Thanks for reading! Next review will be on ELF Cream Liner.

Mani Monday: Glittery Green with some Tangerine!

Hello there:)

You can't really tell but the tangerine polish is NYC Times Square Tangerine.
The Green is Four Leaf Clover.

A product thumbnail of Sparkle Effect Loose Glitter Pearly White
Sparkles I used
available at sally beauty supply
for around a dollar.
This week I was in the mood to paint my nails green, my favorite green at the moment is Four Leaf Clover, I picked this polish up for Saint Patricks day, which is also my birthday in case you were wondering... Any ways this instantly became my favorite green polishes, I felt as though my life needed a bit of sparkle this week so I added some sparkle and made my ring fingers tangerine because I personally am not a fan of all of my nails being the same I quite like to have an accent nail. The tangerine polish I used was NYC Times Square Tangerine, its a creme polish.  I used three coats of the tangerine and two coats of the green. On the second coat I sprinkled on some white glitter that had a green undertone before the polish had a chance to dry and then a few coats of Seche Vite top coat, personally I don't like this top coat I'm just trying to use it up. I also used the Seche Clear base coat, for all those wondering the company really isn't Seche Vite that's just the name of the top coat I feel a lot of people don't realize that since most everyone calls it Seche Vite.

Both hands are the same this week, and
the sparkles look much prettier in person,
I feel as though sparkles just don't show up
too well in photos. Also polish isn't that yellow
based its more blue based but still very green.

How I keep my hair super silky and shiny all week long

         Hello There:)

I've decided that I want to make a post every Sunday dedicated to at home "spa" type things such as facials, hair mask, and other things you can do at home for cheap. I personally like to treat my self on Sundays, just relax and take time to give my hair and skin some extra love and attention it deserves.

So my first post will be on how I keep my hair soft and silky all week. I am a firm believer in not washing your hair daily, it dries your hair and scalp out and if you dye your hair like me if slowly but surely fades your color and no one wants dry hair with faded color. I have fine hair, its a medium/long length and I dye it a few times a year, I dye it black because it fades into a dark brown color that I really like, I personally don't use heat on my hair very often maybe once every other month, but I also only get my ends cut off a few times a year so to me its important to keep my ends from splitting and to keep my hair as silky and soft as possible.

Make sure its extra virgin ollive oil.
You can use extra virgin coconut oil too.
What I do is every Sunday or at least I try to do this every Sunday is put extra virgin olive oil in my hair, this is a pretty well known thing but I feel as though some people are a little off on using this because its oil and you don't want to put something you cook with in your hair. Well its actually really good for your hair its like the ultimate leave in conditioner and most people already have it in their kitchen.

This the brush I'm talking about.
The first thing I do is I brush my hair out completely, using a paddle brush I had once heard that the were the most gentle on your head and I do believe they are, I use a Conair one, it was one of those ones with the gushy handles and it is seriously the most gentle brush I have ever used, if you can find one seriously give it a try you wont regret it. After my hair is completely brushed out from root to ends I pour about three tablespoons of the olive oil in my hands and start to work it through my ends then on to the roots, I massage it into my scalp gently with the palms of my hands because this helps circulate the blood in your scalp causing your hair to grow fast. Lastly I take a wide tooth come and gently comb though my hair to make sure its evenly distributed and then pull it up and let my hair soak it up for at least thirty minute but I try to go an hour or two, you can sleep with it in your hair, all you do is add a shower cap before going to bed.

After you have let it sit in your hair for your desired time of course just rinse it out, I suggest using either a clarifying shampoo(DO NOT use this if you just dyed your hair) or kids shampoo(this usually has conditioner in it and its much more gentle and doesn't strip your color as much), I usually use both just to insure its all out, believe me its not a good thing when you accidentally leave some of it in, having clean roots and greasy ends just doesn't look right. Honestly this leaves my hair so soft and shiny all week and it doesn't leave your hair smelling like olive oil.

Thanks for reading, sorry for the boring pretty much all text post, next at home spa Sunday post will be on a at home facial or maybe exfoliater.

My Everyday Eye Makeup

Hello There:)

So this is my everyday makeup, my go to look when I'm not feeling so lazy that I really don't want to do anything, that look is my next picture tutorial, this is the look I also do if I just want something simple and natural.
Products used:
Lorac Ooh La Lace Palette
Urban Decay Primer Potion
ELF Cream Eyeliner
Avon Glimmersticks Waterproof in Brown Chocolate
Avon SuperShock Waterproof Mascara
The brushes I used except for the
angle brush I used for my eyeliner
I used all of the colors except the gray.

So the first thing was prime my lids then what I did was on the first two thirds of the lid before the black line is put the first color on the bottom half of the palette, then the color next to that, the bronzed color on the last third on my lid. Then I blended it out with my blending brush and added more of the bronzed color to my crease to blend out more and add more depth to more crease.

Then I use a packed doomed brush and drew a v in my outer v with the dark brown, next I blend this out and sometimes I use a tad bit of black and do the same thing.

This is what the shadow looks like all done, I did add a bit on the bottom, I just went in order from darkest to lightest from the outer to the inner. Usually I don't add shadow on the bottom but this time I did. I also used the whitish shade in the palette to highlight under my brow and tear duct.

Then I apply liner on my lid, usually I do a winged but this isn't always the same sometimes I make a small one sometimes I don't do a wing at all; this looks sloppy but it doesn't once I open my eye.

Lastly I apply black eyeliner to the outer half of my bottom waterline and lower lashes and then brown on the inner half leaving the tear duct liner free. I also applied mascara, set my liner and did my brows.

Thanks for reading, and of course you can use any colors you have instead of this palette and any other products you have instead of the ones I used.

Review(short):NYC Liquid Lipshine

Hello there :)

These lipglosses have good pigmentation for a lipgloss, they're not overly sticky but just sticky enough to make them last longer. My personal favorite is Nude York City, as you can tell by the name it's a nude. The smell isn't the greatest but as long as your not to smell sensitive it shouldn't bother you much, it's kind of a sweet scent. They come with .24 fluid ounces, which is a decent amount especially for the price. The NYC site says's they are formulated with vitamin E and have a 3-D shine effect. The vitamin E makes the gloss quite moisturizing. I find this gloss leaves my lips feeling moisturized even when I use it with a really drying lipsticks. Honestly this is my go to lip gloss and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a really good drugstore lip gloss.
There are ten colors to select from, they cost around 2.49usd and can be found at most drugstores and Wal Mart in the US and in Superdrugs and some Boots in the UK.

Thanks for reading, my next review is going to be either the Avon Glazewear Lip glosses or the Avon Truecolor Eyeshadow Quads.

Mani Monday: Peach and Periwinkle

  Hello There:)

This week I have China Glazes Peachy Keen and Secret Peri-wink-le on my nails. Peachy Keen is my favorite polish of the time and I love pairing it with colors people wouldn't often think to put with a peach, colors like greens and blues. This color does look gorgeous with colors like reds, tangerines and on its own too. I'm going to do a review on China Glaze later on, this is by far my favorite salon brand. Also the periwinkle isn't that blue toned in person, it is a true periwinkle. I used a white under Peachy Keen to make it pop more and two coats of both polishes. They're both creme polishes. I used seche vite top and base coat.

Look for them under the creme section, Peachy Keen is on page one and Secret Peri-wink-le is on page two. This can be purchased at Sally Beauty Supply for 6.49usd.

Thanks for reading!
